i don’t know a single human who have watched jungle fish 2, and i’ve always wanted to see (my husband is in it) and mackerel run is a special drama, right? i’ll check it out.

Mackerel Run felt more like a jdrama than a kdrama to me – it’s got that over-the-top slapstick comedy. There isn’t much depth to it but it’s entertaining, especially if you like school dramas. It’s also a short drama (only 8 eps) so easy to breeze through, although I wonder where the story would have gone if they hadn’t cut it down due to low ratings (which means the ending feels slightly unsatisfying and the show itself more shallow than it could have been). But it’s still cute fluff and fun way to waste a few hours so long as you don’t take it too seriously.
