I still haven’t watched it, it’s on my watch list tho~
Yay, at least it’s on your watch list! ^_^
I know it’s not for everyone. It’s got some dark humor (and it’s kinda bloody) so I would totally understand if someone was like “nope, not for me.” But it’s so good. But then it’s kinda hard to go wrong with Lee Bo Young and Shin Ha Kyun and the rest of that amazing cast. It’s what made me a fan of Kim Eun Hee (her first drama!), although Sign solidified it. If you give her enough space and time to plot out all the intricate details, she comes up with some really amazing dramas (my disappointment with Three Days notwithstanding, but that’s probably because it was slower paced and more boring than I’m used to from her).
Kim Eun Hee has been one of my favorite writers since Sign! I’ve been wanting to watch Harvest Villa for a long time, but I always find something else on my watch list to watch first. Dark humor is always fun! To think that Harvest Villa is actually one of tvN’s first dramas, I’m sure if they re-aired it now, ratings would be amazing. I’ll watch it soon!
It was also pre-produced! Or at the very least the script was fully written before they started shooting. Which is one reason why it’s so good because it doesn’t lag in the end.
