DUDE the drama doesn’t even really have the second one because it’s still unclear to me with one episode left if San is aware that he’s a vampire. I think other people know he is, but if so, why hasn’t anyone asked him about it? Why hasn’t he asked about it? Why does he not question being given a blood inhaler? Or his sudden super strength? Or blood visions? If I suddenly had super powers and wasn’t hungry but needed to breathe blood to survive, I would have a lot of questions, y’know? But San, he just goes “huh” and moves on to the next case to solve. “Gee, I didn’t die from that normally fatal wound. I guess I’m lucky or something.” (Or tattoo doc is the best damn doctor in the world ‘cause that works, too.)
It just assumes we know all about their vampire culture like it’s normal except it’s clearly not normal because of the way the people react and I DEMAND TO KNOW THEIR MYTHOS especially since it’s canon that the Vampire Prosecutor is in the same universe so I’m not sure if I’m supposed to transfer over what I know from that show or what.
