I’m so accustomed to PPL – especially in a scene where someone is drinking anything – that my brain screeched to a halt when I saw these cans and I had to confirm there’s no such thing as “Exciting-ade” (어사이팅 에아드) or “Hi-cola.”

I’m used to American shows using cutesy knock-off names to avoid having to pay rights for brand names (and I’m assuming these cans are pretending to be “Powerade” and “Coca-cola”) but my mind apparently boggles that a drama didn’t try to cram in some unobtrusive PPL.
