My bff texted me this AM that only one of her kids still has the flu then asked if I wanted to join them for The Last Jedi bc they now had an extra ticket (due to sick kid). Her text woke me up & I had to fly out of my house to meet them – only to be greeted with a world covered in snow. Super pretty, but not what I was expecting!

Enjoyed the movie while seated next to my eldest niece (but shhhhhhh don’t tell LP because we made plans on the 1st to see it), and now am hanging out w/ the family where we’ll soon have Christmas dinner. I’ll stop by tomorrow after work, too. It’ll be fun to see Christmas through the eyes of children. ^_^

Also I know it’s been ages since I’ve seen my BFF because her youngest was a toddler but now she’s taller and can speak full sentences. Also the eldest is maybe a foot shorter than I am. By the time she reaches junior high she’s gonna be taller than I am, I just know it.
