I like dramas.
I didn’t think anyone could ruin Black Panther for me but
my Dad sent me an email that he and Mum saw it this weekend and was like “Wakanda is the true Libertarian dream! Make Wakanda great again! Keep foreigners out! Only help people who look like you!” and now I just want to repeatedly bang my head against the desk because of all the amazing themes and stories in the film, this is what my father gets out of it.
I thought movies were one of the few safe topics we could discuss without fighting but, sigh, I guess I’ll have to be even more cautious when it comes to picking my battles.
I think it was about seven years ago. There was a time I was touched by something you did. I’m sure you don’t remember.
Oh hey since I’m feeling chatty, are any of you on kakaotalk? I have an account that I started years ago for log-in reasons but I never use it so it goes dormant & then when I want to log-in to a cafe or whatever, it’s like “no you no longer exist.” Help me not go dormant!
