If a dehumidifier and a humidifier fought, which one would win?
the weirdest part is I never though about it but my brain immediately started thinking of the variables and my guess is it depends on both the water deposit capacity and the power (defines the flux of spray/suction) of each device. If they are both on for a long time, the humidity will rise at first and reach a new equilibrium of water being released and captured. If we measure it before turning them on and then after it stabilizes, setting a time period for the measurement, we’ll get an answer, but on the long term it will depend on the water deposits, because eventually the humidifier will stop spreading water droplets and likewise eventually the dehumidifier will be full and stop capturing water. It really depends on water and power capacity, but if I had to take a guess, the dehumidifier wouldn’t be able to counteract the humidifier’s water release, so the humidity would increase at first. Now, if the humidifier is tiny and the dehumidifier has a big capacity, there’s a change it would suck the artificial humidity and carry on sucking the air so that when it finally reached its limit, the room would be dryer than in the beginning of this experiment.
I keep debating about canceling my Netflix account because I rarely ever use it but it seems like just when I’m ready to pull the plug, they’ll announce some original thing that makes me keep going a little longer.
But right now there’s nothing on there that’s appealing. What are the rumors of what Netflix will bring in the next few months?

I have people like that at work. She probably also knows your schedule and times it so that she can have her break around the same time you do…but on the bright side, my 3 friends at work watch kdramas so I get to talk about dramas with them 🙂
Nah, it was a bizarre twist of fate. The schedules are fairly regimented for most of the staff, so I know pretty much what everyone is doing/where they are all the time. Normally my break time is flexible for when there’s downtime (unless I’m working in the back with everyone else), but most others have theirs specifically scheduled.
For whatever reason, she ended up getting off schedule. She doesn’t purposefully stalk me, I swear! She was happy to have a break time with another coworker – I think she just likes having someone around to hear her talk.
I think I’m the only one at my work who watches dramas, and I don’t really discuss what I watch (I don’t really discuss my private life too much in general, tbh, because while it’s nice to get along with coworkers, I don’t feel a need to totally befriend them). Although there are at least a couple of coworkers who weren’t immediately rebuffed by my vague description of “I do freelance writing about media” and consequently know I write about k-dramas.
