I went through the first half of the year barely watching any dramas but right now I’m actively watching seven, soon to be eight.
Making up for lost time, I guess. 😂
Over-thinker. Easily distracted by shiny things. Oooh. Shiny.

His list of terms for being his girlfriend was fantastic. Snacks at school, rides, fancy restaurant on my birthday,a yearly trip abroad and a new cell phone? Not gonna lie, I would’ve considered the offer a little longer..
He has such a childlike, naive view of dating and romance! Which is something I distinctly remember from the manga, but I felt never really quite came across in the tv adaptations. I actually really like that this version feels more like the manga (despite all the mandated changes).
HOW IS HIS HAIR MORE TERRIBLE THAN ANY OTHER VERSION someone needs to be really proud of this
How dare you insult my 🍍 son!
I MAY have to watch this because I could never get into the Chinese original? And I don’t know what it is about this story but I am both obsessed and disgusted with it. X)
I never watched more than a couple of episodes of the original Meteor Garden, but I am Hanadan trash and I’m loving this version.
In episode 6, Shancai is wearing a sloth pattern shirt that I desperately need in my life. If I could screengrab from Netflix, I’d show it to you. But just know that it’s adorable and very important to me.
EDIT: it’s this one

Watching Meteor Garden remake and I’ve never really liked – mostly tolerated – the Tsukasa character. But I’m totally smitten with Dao Ming Si and the way Dylan Wang is portraying him (also Dylan Wang is suuuuuper cute) that there isn’t even a whiff of second-lead-syndrome despite my devoted love for the Rui character.
Gonna dive into the tags. Y’all are warned.
Dear drama gods,
Please please please make Let’s Eat 3 a charming retrospective that has none of the infuriating elements of season 2. May it be filled with lots of delicious crave-worthy food and no silly romance.
In Soo-kyung noona’s name,
Amen
