Listen I may be like ‘oh hahaha my initials are OD!’ but wtf OD’ing on benzos is no joke. Hopefully the docs are correct and that his condition is improving but obviously it’s serious enough if they think it could take at least a week to fully recover. And that’s just the physical side of things – let’s not even begin to think about the mental toll and how long (if ever) to recover from that.

I’m alternately distraught for him (and for myself, lbr, even if it’s only a celeb I’ve seen from afar or as close as my money would allow) and furious at the world who would rather point fingers than realize this is a poor soul who needs help not persecution.

I’ve noticed that DB peeps the past month or so have started calling me “odi” which isn’t a complaint but it’s been a weird sudden shift from all the normal misspellings (yeah I know it’s weird name). All I can assume is that people were collectively like “gdi forget this confusion of how many l’s and how many t’s and where tf to put the i’s and e’s – I’mma just call her ‘odi.’”

Ty for analyzing my drama tendencies y’all!

shutupmenken:

beyond hoya being in it, i think i’ve noticed you enjoying stuff that’s unapologetically over the top with the tropes it chooses, whatever those may be

also dramas about underrepresented groups

(neither of which is exactly a trope, but if they ring true hopefully they’ll help you think of something??)

over the top and underrepresented, hmmm (also: Hoyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

bettydice:

dramas about ladies being awesome

that’s bc ladies are awesome

karisimas:

You seem to like dramas about strange or quirky characters, rather than predictable or mainstream dramas. If Javabeans likes it, you probably won’t, and vice versa. You like the “indie-film-style” of K-dramas. At least that’s my interpretation of your posts. 🙂

Is Kim Seul-gi a trope? Because she should be.
