When was Witch’s Romance? That’s the last straight up by-the-book rom-com I can remember actually finishing and feeling satisfied by it.
Also, does Fantastic count as a rom-com? Because I adored that little show, but the rom-com only made up a portion of why I loved it so much.

Like on Viki/Dramafever/etc? I’m not sure. There’s only a fan channel on Viki and no mention on Dramafever, although when Voice aired there was hardly any notice until almost the airdate that DF was going to be carrying it (on a 2 day lag). I’m not sure when Viki got the license, but it was after DF.
VIU should be carrying it if you’re the type to download soft subs.
We’ll probably have a better idea closer to the airdate, but right now I’m assuming it will be similar to Voice’s license.
Same! That’s what makes me think I like him best as a secondary or minor character. I really liked him in Nine where he played the younger version of the lead (and where I first saw him) and I absolutely adored him as Myungsoo in Heirs. But he didn’t really work me as the king in Hwarang and he’s not working for me here. As you say, he just feels kinda bland even though his character is hella quirky.
I’m not sure if it’s him or the character, since I could see a few actors making the character come alive for me. But I also know there are plenty of others that seem to like him in the role, so maybe it’s just me. *shrug*
You know you spend too much time around dogs when you describe meeting someone for the first time and getting a weird, creepy vibe as “if I had hackles, they would be raised” and you mean it literally and not in the idiomatic “I’m annoyed and angry” way.
when you make friends online, you first think of them by their username, and then as you get to know them you move on to thinking of them by their actual name. USUALLY. but there are some people i’ve known for ten years that i still think of as “silvercat” or even [icon of Alan Tudyk]. like there’s one person i see on Twitter posting under her real name and i still think “who is that? …ah yes, it’s [icon of Alan Tudyk]. she’s so cool.“
My coworker who was out sick for two days is back and pissed at me bc she says I gave her the flu.
I don’t even feel bad about it because I wasn’t allowed to call out so you get the germs you get.

Aw, thanks. But I know my tastes often go against the popular, which is just something I’ve learned to accept. Sometimes I feel like I must have grown a heart of stone since cute rom-coms no longer appeal like they used to.
I’m still a little confused why using her strength to get her job as a bodyguard for a rich entrepreneur chaebol skirted the self-seeking rule. Also as much as I like Hyungsik (and he’s one of my favorite idol actors!), I get the feeling he’s one of those actors I like best in supporting roles since my brain kinda tunes out during his scenes w/ PBY.
I’d totally watch whatever drama Ji Soo seems to think he’s starring in, though.
