I didn’t pack a lunch because ugh mornings and was planning to get by on a cup of tea or two until I could go home by way of the store and/or take-out. Which, tbh, is my usual morning shift routine (although sometimes I have fruit or something similarly easy to stuff in my purse as I stumble half asleep to my car).

But then one of the managers is going on the paleo diet for health reasons so she cleared out her pantry last night, and today brought in a giant bag of carby goodness and another bag that is filled with nothing but cheese.

Today is a good day.

AND NOW ANOTHER COWORKER HAS BROUGHT IN LEFTOVER BIRTHDAY CAKE
