I don’t know if I’m going to stick with this drama (oh hey did anyone know that’s NINETY MINUTES LONG and it desperately needs an editor? have I mentioned that before?) but I’m at least going to give it another shot for Lee El and the *fingers crossed* Odd Couple shenanigans between the goblin and the reaper (who is still my fave, fight me).
Okay forced cohabitation between handsome supernatural creatures who hate each other and finger-gun burns now that’s what I’m talking about only why did it take OVER AN HOUR to get there.
I keep fast-forwarding a couple of minutes here and there, and I swear I keep landing on GY sitting in his giant mansion like first does this dude ever leave and second does this plot ever move.
FF’s until I see LDW. #noregrets
Also I like his hat so there.
I’m sure everyone’s smitten with Gong Yoo but honestly Lee Dong Wook hooked me faster than GY did.
Serious question. How much will I miss if I fast-forward to more modern times when things will presumably be more interesting.
FYI I hopped forward to about the twenty minute mark and that’s when the title card flashed onscreen. The title card. TWENTY MINUTES IN. It’s also when the modern stuff happens so yay good guestimate on my part.
EDIT: at 27 minutes in they do (presumably) a quick recap of what happened in the past that, if you were watching and not a lazy impatient bum like I am, had just watched less than ten minutes prior. I’m just…. ??? Who’s editing this and when can I throttle them like a demon goblin because seriously.
She appeared as an old lady with no name throughout the drama, and had one, less than a minute, appearance as her other character. Still don’t know her name or what her purpose is.
Yeah, that’s her! I literally decided to give this a chance because I was like “Lee El as an old lady????”
But I’m still aghast at the length even though I’m only a couple of minutes in.
Goblin is a minute shy of 90 minutes? For one episode????
wtf tvN

Goblin peeps tell me about Lee El and if I will cry to not see her in this.
