Excuse me while I pretend I’m in the middle of a sageuk.
I wonder if those actors who seem to always be in sageuks just keep their costumes because they know they’ll be playing a similar role later and need it again.
Back in my room because I’m a sleepy baby (thank you jet lag for waking me up at 4am) and watching TWDR on tv. I’d forgotten Soo Hyuk was in this. He’s so pretty, y’all.
Also it’s weird for me to watch dramas on a screen larger than my 11 inch computer. Weird but good because the pretty faces are pretty and yes plz I would like to see those on a giant widescreen tv.
Namdaemun Gate is stunning at night!
Finally realized I was starving, so stopped in a little hole-in-the-wall type place in Namdaemun market. The ahjumma with her limited English decided that since I am a foreigner I must have bibimbap. No complaints here!
Wandered back out to the front to watch the changing of the guards that’s supposed to start in about ten minutes, and they’re getting ready for a fire drill. Fun!

No admission charges today at Deoksung palace – just walk right in!
Here’s some of the parade. Sorry if it’s a bit wobbly. ^_^
Korean peeps, plz explain this awesome parade of old-timey folk I randomly stumbled on as soon as I stepped out of my hotel.
