More The Good Wife casting news!
Yoon Kye Sung has been officially confirmed for the Will Gardner role. He’d been rumored to be considering it favorably almost since the beginning, but now it’s official. I’m pleased, since I think he’ll suit that role well (or “Will,” heh).
Also, Lee Won Geun has been confirmed for Lawyer Logan the Cary Agos role. I’ve apparently seen him in a few small roles, but nothing memorable since his leading roles haven’t been in dramas I’ve watched. Which means I don’t really have an opinion on this casting, except that Lawyer Logan Cary is a young cocky first-year so tbh any up-and-coming actor would probably do.
With the exception of Nana (who I will accept if her role isn’t actually Kalinda), all the casting has been excellent, and I’m excited to see how tvN tackles this adaptation.

If anyone’s curious about where to watch some upcoming tvN shows, Another Oh Hae Young is licensed for Viki in the US/Canada and there’s a page for Dear My Friends on Dramafever, although it isn’t listed in their upcoming dramas (and is only a fan page on Viki). This doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll pick it up any time soon (since they have a page for Memory but Viki is the one who got the license), so it can’t hurt to request it from Viki.
Not sure about VIU since I still haven’t figured out the secret of discovering any “coming soon” list on their website, but it might be worth it to check in there once the dramas start airing (more important for those of us who download softsubs, unless of course you’re based in Singapore).
Getting caught up on Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho and every scene with Park Shin Yang and Cheekbones Ahjussi is pure gold. I’d watch a drama with just the two of them. A spin-off, maybe, about their law firm/loan shark business where Hwang Suk Jung also sasses them around.
These three are all I need tbh.
