I need a gif of this moment because it’d be the only reaction gif I’d ever need.

N.EX.T – “Fly, Chick”
As heard in ep 11 of Bubblegum.
And in ep 11 of Signal.
The new guy at work is supposed to make my life easier, not harder, yet the month he’s been here makes me wish that I didn’t have another person and instead was just doing everything on my own.
He’s been here a month and yet he’s making day-one rookie mistakes (out of the blue! On things he’s done plenty of times before!) that mean I waste a lot of time doing the things he should have already done or fixing his mistakes.
Granted, there is a learning curve. I get it. I’m patient and willing to find new ways to communicate and train so something will stick. But just when I think we’re on the same page and getting somewhere, I end up spending half my day on something that should have been completed last night and wouldn’t have taken very long at all then, but because I have to squeeze it in between all the other stuff I do, it takes forever.
I don’t know how many times I can explain something or say “hey show me what you think this task means so we can figure out the disconnect together” or be like “you’re still doing this wrong and I don’t understand why because you’ve shown before you understand how to do it correctly.”

@obsessivedilettante this one’s for you!
Ugh, this is perfect. I’m crying.
I’m gonna be real and admit I’m not going to get back to CITT since I’m excited about all the new shiny things about to air (and also I hear rumbles that the last few eps aren’t worth it, anyway, so me stopping at ep 11 isn’t such a bad thing, perhaps).
I just want some one who does watch it all the through tell me that I get my long-awaited Bo Na and Eun Tak moment. In my head it’ll play like some Leia/Han Solo moment, all “I love you” and “I know” because just admitting it out-loud is huge for Bo Na and Eun Tak needs to hear those words but he also know he needs to keep his cool.
The point is these are the two best characters and I need the show to treat at least them with the respect they deserve.
All jokes about Rain’s nekkid body aside (and that body is no joke, lemme tell you), I’m really impressed with Come Back Ahjussi. It’s surprised me many times at how entertaining it is and well put-together, and most of all, I actually care about most of the characters which is rare for me so early on in a drama. The dramatic and comedic beats are there, the cinematography is pretty neat (thanks to a lovely use of CGI), and I find their take on the original story compelling.
But most surprising, considering all the promo material, is that all the ladies in this drama are amazing and unique and have their own stories and ways of dealing with the world. Yes, even the one who is possessed by a male spirit. I just love them all, including (especially!) the ticket taker as portrayed by the delightful Ra Mi Ran.
I know that this will linger in the middle-ground of ratings and might not get as much buzz since it’s going up against the ratings behemoth that is DotS, but if you were wondering if it’s worth checking it, I really encourage you to give it a chance. I know we’re only into the first week, which is when most dramas throw everything at you to try and get you to bite, but what can I say? It worked on me. Let’s just hope it keeps it up.
