Pfffft now they’re asking “how babies are made” and omg the uncle who’s like “with lots of yogurt drinks.” I’m dying. Then Spy Mom gives them a detailed scientific answer and they’re like “naw, that’s too boring and unbelievable, see yah.”

But good grief, these kids. So dang cute.

Bubblegum bein’ all cute with the flashbacks but I will not let down my guard, nope. I know better than to be thinking the cuteness has returned and then get sucker-punched by the tears.

School drama rec: Jungle Fish 2, Mackerel Run with young Lee Min Ho and Moon Chae Woon (I can’t attest to its quality though because I haven’t watched it)

i don’t know a single human who have watched jungle fish 2, and i’ve always wanted to see (my husband is in it) and mackerel run is a special drama, right? i’ll check it out.

Mackerel Run felt more like a jdrama than a kdrama to me – it’s got that over-the-top slapstick comedy. There isn’t much depth to it but it’s entertaining, especially if you like school dramas. It’s also a short drama (only 8 eps) so easy to breeze through, although I wonder where the story would have gone if they hadn’t cut it down due to low ratings (which means the ending feels slightly unsatisfying and the show itself more shallow than it could have been). But it’s still cute fluff and fun way to waste a few hours so long as you don’t take it too seriously.

Kim Joo Hyuk = Baeksaeng winner

Which means the other three, if they lost would have been:

Kim Joon Ho = comedian who’s appeared on 1N2D before (no lie there)

Defconn = pretty on the inside (aw….)

Jung Joon Young = former best face (wasn’t he an ulzzang?)

Holy shit that’s totally accurate.

I was puzzled as to why they made them choose from those three specific cards and then took them into the woods, also why they didn’t tease us with blacked-out/pixilated video of the guest stars.

So cruel and so hilarious.
