Have you seen Hanzawa Naoki?

I haven’t, although it’s on the list to watch ever since it was recommended in the Misaeng comments.

I’m still a very casual jdrama watcher, tbh – usually only watching new jdrama a year or so. Always happy for recommendations, though!

I just checked my queue to see what’ll be posting for the next few days (I’m so excited for you, anon – I hope these freeze in excellent positions!), and realized that I only have enough in my queue to last through January.

For the first time in a couple of years, my queue is below 100 posts.

Clearly I need to hang out on tumblr more often because I’m obviously missing vital Hoya posts to reblog.

I honestly am not loving Bubblegum. It’s a bit… without direction, at least in my opinion. The characters and acting are good, and I like the relationships, but I don’t feel any motivation to watch it. I even decided not to continue with it after ep 1 and was so bored at one point in the day that I ended up watching ep 2 because of that. Not a fan, but wouldn’t discourage you from watching it. I’ve only heard good things, actually.

Duly noted!

Ha, and that’s a major reason why I like it. Slice-of-life is my jam.
