I want a lovely bromance to blossom from those two, but I doubt it’ll happen since they both like Hye Jin. Maybe in the end? I can hope.
My headcanon since ep 2 is that Siwon’s character is bi. So it can totally happen.
Over-thinker. Easily distracted by shiny things. Oooh. Shiny.

I need She Was Pretty outtakes esp. any scene involving both Siwon and Park Seo Joon because I don’t know how PSJ manages to keep a straight (and unconscious) face.

yeah… she isn’t dialing it down. if anything she slowly dials it up (or it feels like it, based on my increasingly annoyed attitude whenever she does something stupid). but then you can hit a plateau of annoyance, and it doesn’t annoy you anymore!!
I think I’ve sorta hit that plateau, even though I’m like “STOP OVERREACTING ALREADY” most of the time. It seems like whatever changes wrought during her late-bloom of puberty also made her totally freak out at the slightest thing. Enough dropping to the ground and hiding behind desks! If you’re going to make a fool of yourself, own it! Although I do think the shrieking is subsiding a little bit. Or, as you say, I am becoming immune.

I only watched eps 1&2 so far and then read some recaps, but this role seems to be “OK cast Siwon as his most .gif-ed self”
He is hilarious and delightful and also an excellent character. He is weird but he owns it and doesn’t care what other people think. Doesn’t hurt that he’s super-handsome and charming. I’m loving watching him gradually see what a beautiful person Hwang Jung Eum’s character is (she may be annoying in her flailing shrieking, but at least she’s got a good heart!). I would have no complaints about going against the Dramaland grain and having the second lead pair up with the lead at the end, because I like our two separate couples together. At least, so far.
I mean, I know the whole “lying about who you really are” is gonna come back and bite her roommate but she’s so happy around Park Seo Joon – it’s really sweet. But I hope a boy doesn’t destroy their friendship because he’s not worth it – no boy is worth it, not when you’re friends like that! And I’m a little sad that the roomie hasn’t opened up to Hwang Jung Eum about why she’s been enjoying the attention from Park Seo Joon, because even if it hurt a bit, she’s a good enough friend to understand. I think they could work through it. But of course what kind of drama would we have if everyone was honest up front?
I’m just glad Siwon is living up to my expectations (after King of Dramas) because he was born to play comedic characters. I want more of him on my screen, tbh. He brings life (and depth, oddly enough) to this little show.

Not sure what episode you’re on, but her over dramatic ways don’t die down till she get’s her makeover.
Ep 5! And I’ve heard about her makeover, which makes me grit my teeth in general because of course she has to have a makeover since she’s “ugly” (which, wtf Dramaland, having curly hair and no makeup on doesn’t make someone ugly, but that’s a rant for another day). I just hope she keeps her spirit – as annoying as it may be for me to watch – because forget that if she’s getting a makeover and changing her personality to fit in.

SLS?
Second Lead Syndrome.
Still have a bit of a fever so no theatre for me tonight. *cries*
But because I desperately want to see the show I’ll buy a ticket for another day. Sad about the waste of money but health comes first (and not getting everyone around me sick, either).
This means, though, I can doze-watch my way through more of She Was Pretty and hope I’m awake for all of Siwon’s delightful faces he pulls. If not, there’s always the rewind button.
Siwon is now literally singin’ (and dancin’) in the rain for no reason except he wants to. I mean come on now how can I not have SLS.
Siwon is total second lead syndrome fodder ‘cause he totally believes in her, is delighted by her, wants to help her, and most importantly offers her food whenever he sees her.
Plus he’s hella adorable with those dimples.
Like “hi” ideal boyfriend material.
I’m tolerating Hwang Jung Eum’s excessive overacting because of Siwon but she better dial it down a notch or ten in the next few eps.
Kim Seul Ki and BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon Film New Romance-Fantasy Drama Together
Actress Kim Seul Ki and BEAST‘s Yoon Doo Joon got together to film a short drama.
On October 20, MBC‘s “Splash Splash LOVE (tentative title)” began filming and released some behind-the-scenes photos.
In the photos, Yoon Doo Joon has transformed into the king of Joseon while friendly posing with Kim Seul Gi. They seem to have gotten close already despite it being the start of this new drama.
