Dramaland’s rules of propriety won’t stop me from understanding what happens after the camera pans out from a couple kissing. Everybody got a lil’ action that night and you can’t convince me otherwise.
I don’t know wtf tumblr is thinking but until I can get an xkit tweak I’m blocking every supposed “staff pick/radar” blog they put at the top of my dash, treating it like the spam it is. 😡
Went out to move my car so I don’t get a ticket (my parking pass expired and I still haven’t received my new one because I procrastinating in sending in my info). Threw on the closest sweatshirt bc it’s chilly and drizzly, which is my work sweatshirt that I haven’t washed since I last worked (don’tjudgeme I was busy trying to pack for Paris!).
Ended up making good friends with a random neighbor’s Frenchie who was like “ooooohhhhhh your shirt smells gooooooooood” bc I’m sure it smells like a gazillion dogs (and a few cats). She was super cute though, even if she seemed offended when I told her she’s a good girl but didn’t give her a cookie.
Y’all should be relieved I have a bizarre-yet-stubborn respect for proper queuing so you’ll get lots of pics of Handsome Oppa spread out over many days instead ALL OF THEM RIGHT NOW bc I can freely go into the tag w/o worry of spoilers.
The directing on this show is a bit of a mess, tbh.
For example, I’m not understanding the slo-mo b&w bit when they touch – I get that it’s supposed to be “meaningful” but it’s just awkward.
Actually everything is a tad stilted, although I’m willing to put it down to first episode exposition jitters, and hopefully things will get better once characters and motivations are established. It’s not bad enough to be annoying but this is probably not going to be a show I’ll remember for its script, direction, or cinematography.
I’m not the greatest fan of Seo Hyun Jin and wasn’t sure about watching a show with her as the lead, but the supporting female cast is A++ so good job with the casting, Show (and I’m not even talking about Handsome Oppa).
