MWHAHAHA all the ep 5 meltdown on my dash. I need to mark 12/28 as “Episode 5” day for all future rewatches so I can make sure I don’t miss the newbies going “WTF nooooooooo.”

I feel like I should point out that @erinserrand did well with episode 5. It’s episode 6 that had her freaking out >.>
I wish I had had the comfort of denial! But no, I went into White Christmas fresh off of the emotional napalm that was the final leg of King 2 Hearts; where I stubbornly clung to the safety blanket of denial until the last damn frame failed to resurrect that adorable goober.
I didn’t believe in fairytales anymore.
But I do recall the paranoia and DOOM feelings being exponentially worse in episode 6. So, you know, good times ahead my friends.
I was fine w/ ep 6 except for one (ok, maybe 2 –one word: toast) scenes though…but ep 8, man, that finale.
Ep 7 caused some significant feels too (this song!!)
…basically, every ep after ep 2, except something major to go down
Mi Reu, though… finding out about Chi Hoon… that’s not an easy scene (a good scene because ugh my poor babies but, y’know, sad ‘cause he may have hated him, but there was some respect there, too, when it came to rivalry).

Is there an offical “White Christmas Rewtach Day” or “White Christmas Rewatch Week”?
Not…exactly? Kind of? In 2013 @obsessivedilettante spearheaded a rewatch (December 24 through 31, for obvious reasons) with the “a merry mad mireu christmas” tag. I wasn’t able to participate in the rewatch but did 8 days of fics instead. Last year I used the tag for my rewatch (though it took longer than the 8 days), but I’m about 98% sure I was alone.
I think it’d be fun to do another rewatch (or even post fanworks) with that same tag this year during the same time, because let’s face it, the closer we get to Christmas, the more the tag gets overwhelmed by Bing Crosby and snowscapes.
(We could also turn it into a concentrated “let’s submit licensing requests for the show to Viki and DF” time, too.)
