[Bubblegum Episode 4]
Effortless. I sit down to watch and it flows so smoothly from scene to plot point and gives me lowkey cuties. I don’t check the episode progress. I don’t pause. I just sit here and enjoy. I adore all the little character building bits placed just so throughout the episode. It isn’t enough that Haeng-Ah and Ri-Hwan have a past and depth, Bubblegum is giving it to us with everyone.
I love Tae-Hee like burning. Just pure, unadulterated, burning love. She is the best.
I don’t often watch shows where the male lead is remotely self aware of the stupid stuff he pulls so there are times that Ri-Hwan is a breath of fresh air because he thinks about it and tries to work it out like a real friend would. There is a different quality to him and he is hitting a lot of good points that give me fluttery feels. The amount of cheering I did while he and Haeng-Ah supported each other in the we are totally fake!dating ruse was probably a little ridiculous.
But Haeng-Ah is a queen. She is honest with her feelings, direct in what she wants, and completely willing to walk away from any situation that puts her in a subordinate position. She takes Seok-Joon to the roof if he wants to talk about their relationship. She gives up her cell phone without blinking because she doesn’t want to be coerced into anything. She calls on Ri-Hwan to help her because Seok-Joon isn’t listening so she chooses a path he can’t ignore.
So it really is too bad Seok-Joon is simultaneously hitting all of my nope buttons. If he wasn’t, this could be a real contest. Instead, I’m just shouting, “NO” and “GROSS” at him.
But yeah. I am excite.

I had to do something to acknowledge (*cries about the lack of reply feature*) because YES PLZ ME TOO. And I thought I was alone in that love!
