I instituted a no take-away rule this month (and only weakened once so far, which is a pretty good average, right?). I won’t deny that it’s been a minor struggle to realize that if I want to eat something, I’m gonna have to make it myself *gasp*.
I think I had vague ideas I would suddenly become all domestic-foodie overnight but actually what really has happened is that I’ve stocked the heck up on yogurt (they were on sale!) and then routinely wonder why I’m suddenly starving at 9pm every night. Only to remember that, “oh yeah, all I’ve had to eat today was a bowl of yogurt with granola.”
Eventually I’m going to crack and finally make a proper meal. Or admit defeat and order take-away.
But for now I’m making popcorn.
