Can’t remember I’d you said, but are you going to check out, or have you already checked out W? I’m really enjoying it so far.
I plan to, eventually.
But no new dramas until I’m caught up on the ones I’ve been watching.
Over-thinker. Easily distracted by shiny things. Oooh. Shiny.

Apparently I don’t watch a lot of dramas that fit this genre because I was all gung-ho to answer, but could only come up with Arang and the Magistrate.
Wait, there’s also Surplus Princess (mermaids!).
I don’t know that I would list Padam, Padam as a favorite drama, but I adored Gooksoo.

Aiya. They still haven’t got their stuff together with the vampire stuff? When are they gonna do it? The last episode? Oh shit I think I just realize I’m a vampire.
Ep 6 was totally Vampiriffic, to the point where the crime of the week wasn’t very interesting. I was hoping they’d start to balance themselves out, but apparently not? …yet?
As for San, it’s still unclear to me if he knows that he’s a vampire. He has the nifty blood-vision (which has come in handy already this ep), but… after last episode… has he finally figured it out? Or not? Why can’t the audience know once-and-for-all if San knows he’s a vampire? Why is this so difficult? Why, show, why?
EDIT: Oh crap I got my numbers wrong. I’m currently watching ep 8, the one with the ghost, and it’s ep 7 that was all about vampires. Or one vampire, at any rate. Which is better than usual.
The fact that he has an blood inhaler to use during one of his blood vision episodes doesn’t seem to strike him as odd either. Oh the doctor gave it to me, I’ll use it with no questions.
YES EXACTLY and I forgot about that because it was such a minor thing, which… it totally shouldn’t, y’know?
I just think they should have spent more time exploring the vampire mythos in earlier episodes and then maybe focus more on the crime-of-the-day. Because: VAMPIRES.

I thought he was older than me, but alas, he’s not.
He’s the maknae of the 5urprise guys, but with his height and voice, I’m sure he’s mistaken for being older than he is all the time.

Cleaning my house since I’m out of work due to a back injury. I think I’m coming out of my drama slump though. My pace is a little slow, but I’m enjoying the dramas I’m watching right now.
Aw, I’m sorry to hear about your back. I hope you’re resting, too! I should be cleaning my house but instead I’m being a lazy bum. Maybe I’ll take out the trash and feel like I’ve accomplished something.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the dramas right now! There’s no prize ribbon for being the first to finish a drama. The story will still be there, waiting for you. ^_^
Ahhh, yeah. That was me last year. Between the one-two punch of Misaeng and Valid Love, no other dramas really appealed to me for a very long time.
Breaks are good, though! Helps to clear the palate, and then who knows what bounty will be waiting for you when you finally decide to jump back in.
OMHE definitely isn’t what it could have been, so you’re not really missing out. I’m just too involved with the characters by now and want to see how they end up (especially my girl Dong Mi <3<3<3<3<3).
Neighborhood Hero is definitely a different vibe and I can totally understand someone not being into it, but it’s the kind of languid show with low-key interesting characters that seem to hit a sweet spot with me. It vaguely reminds me of Midnight Diner or Yoona’s Street in that way. Yeah, there’s this whole “spy who burned me” plot, but that’s not really why I’m watching. I like seeing the neighborhood come together to try and defeat the developers. The spy stuff is just there to give me interesting characters and situations (I mean a bar for retired/fired spies is pretty much a delightful conceit to me, especially when the most earnest puppy and worst spy ever is assigned to follow them. So ridiculous yet adorable).
Also I’ve heard rumbles from other people who have been disappointed in this year’s offerings, so you’re not alone if that’s the case for you. But you know what they say: one drama fan’s trash is another drama fan’s treasure. Or something like that. :p
If it’s not going anywhere because it’s a slice of life drama, that’s fine with me Not everything needs a high octane plot.
If it’s not going anywhere because we still don’t know why Jung has a stick up his butt and is obsessed with Seol, then that’s okay, because I don’t really care. He just better not stress her out even more. College is hard enough without dudes being all creepy and clingy.
