A coworker turned the radio to a Christmas station and “Jingle Bell Rock” blared out and I died a little inside.

Tagged and lemme tell ya the harmony to jingle bell rock is boring af, because that's when you get a bunch of gigs, but then someone complained it was too religious so we never did it again, but you're stuck singing the same damn songs over and over each year, Christmas time is the best of times and the worst of times for show choir, I spent 4 years singing all the peppy Christmas songs, it was great, one year we did a bunch of Benjamin Britten, personal, the bastards, which was difficult with elaborate harmonies and hard to memorize
