Favorite arrondissement to stay in Paris and why.

Tagged (because they have to request it super in advance), also super touristy stuff make me want to break out in hives, but it was near the eiffel tower which is tbh not the best place to stay bc all the museums and stuff are further west, but the parentals are like 'yo dude we are not broke students we have monies and can afford comfort and convenience', for a long weekend getaway with my parents, maybe once?, my instincts are to stay in montparnasse bc of my memories being a broke student studying literature, parentals are already bugging me to lock in some dates, tbh i don't think i've stayed on the right bank?, trying to figure out where to stay, which means i have no interest in staying in the 1st arrondissement
