I just finished watching all the teasers for Remember and I think I’d watch this drama just for Park Sung Woong’s gloriously ridiculous and flashy suits. The purple one in the courtroom scene is definitely my fave so far. (Also his back tattoo! It’s on SBS – won’t they have to censor that out?)
This is a debut drama for the writer, although his debut film was well-received and broke some box-office records. So I’m mildly optimistic that we’ll have more of a cinematic feel to the drama, even though it looks like the director is just one of SBS-loyal directors on hand. While he hasn’t done much that I’m familiar with so I’m not totally sure of his style, he was one of the directors of Giant, which I find promising.
Still a bit wary, though. Way too many tears in the teasers to instill confidence for the show not going totally melo.
(PS – I’m watching The Attorney on Hulu right now just to get a feel for this writer’s previous work. Also am excited because it has Im Siwan and Lee Sung Min and, as y’all know, my love for Misaeng will never die.)
