I normally never read comments online (highly recommended, btw) but the past couple of days I’ve retreated to a particular internet safe haven just to quietly mourn and grieve and read stories of others who are mourning and grieving and also be inspired by their stories, knowing we’re not alone.
I’ve lost the taste for a lot of social media right now, but I did want to let anyone know that I’ll be working on Thanksgiving (yay, the industry that never sleeps) and have no major plans other than work, so if there’s anyone who’s stressed about a family get-together because of politics (or anything else), you’re welcome to stop by and talk about whatever makes you happy. I may not be able to respond right away (because: work) but I’ll make a point of checking in.
