I really enjoyed the first ep of Drinking Solo. It’s the right kind of fluff I need in my life right now.
After my mild disappointment with Let’s Eat 2, I didn’t really have any expectations for this take on a similar theme other than figuring it’d be quirky and Key would be delightful. And I was right! Only I was also pleasantly surprised to discover the cast is great and works well together. Plus the show explores some real societal issues, albeit in a light-hearted way. Oh, and there’s even some of the classic food porn-ish style of editing (although not nearly as heavy-handed as Let’s Eat).
Most importantly, I’m already in love with Ha Na and will fight you over her.
