Fiestar – “Apple Pie” MV

Fiestar is really only on my radar right now thanks to Vampire Detective, but I really love their latest release and especially how much symbolism they’ve managed to cram into a four minute MV. I’m not sure how MOGEF will feel about it, though, since their lyrics are “sweet” on the surface but have a much more, ah, suggestive meaning.

Tagged (er that's a paraphrase obviously), and burnt many pies, and i mean it in the nicest way, and now is going to teach it to you, apple pie, because this mv is full of it, but listen to me and it will be a great experience, but that pipette is telling me i'm probably not reading enough, don't try to rush the foreplay, especially combined with the lyrics, even though i feel like most girl group mvs and concepts are overly sexualized for the male gaze, fiestar, i feel like it deserves a 'freud would have a field day' tag or something, i really felt like this had more of a 'girl power' feel to it, is there such a thing as blatant innuendo?, it makes all the difference', kpop, kpop mv, like 'dude this might be your first time, like she's the experienced one, or i could be reading too much into it, ps y'all should watch fiestar's 'we don't stop' if you want a girl group concept that i would love to see more of, SO MUCH, so much sexual symbolism you guys, until she's figured out what she likes, who's tried many apples

I downloaded Yesung’s solo album Here I Am yesterday, and while I think all the songs are excellent, I love this one the best – perhaps because the upbeat tempo and lyrics make it the perfect song for Springtime.

Tagged and eventually woohyun, and this is like the eighth kpop album i've downloaded this year, between, clearly there's good stuff happening (or just all my faves are returning - that too), first yesung, here i am, i'm feeling blessed, i'm so excited that all my fave vocalists are dropping/going to drop solo albums, kpop, super junior, that's about as many i downloaded all of last year!, then eunji, yesung
