it really is doing an amazing job and is so captivating and the character growth and portrayals are so so good. And theres not a second wasted either like you said, they can discard the fluff and just get into it. I wish I could gif because theres so much i want to gif in the show. OMG yes. Even moments where it seems like nothing is happening, there is definitely some amazing subtle acting going on. Those longing glances, those little lookaways, their attempt to present to each other how professional and friendly they are without revealing their true feelings, asldkfjadslkflghsadgkh.
It’s actually one of the harder shows for me to recap just because I always find myself trimming out at least a thousand words of an already ruthless summation to reach the word count limit, and it kills me to not point out every little moment. Most other shows have plenty of dead time or scenes that can be summed up pretty quick and I rarely have an issue of being within word count on the first draft. But this show makes me want to basically transcribe everything and analyze every little look. Sigh.
