Have tickets to see A Wrinkle In Time tomorrow that I’m super excited about, although the reviews coming in make me a little nervous. I haven’t read the book in years, so I won’t be too bothered by some licensing taken in the adaptation, but L’Engle was one my favorite authors growing up so I really want it to be good.
(I was more about the Chronos than the Kairos, and A Ring of Endless Light was probably the most impactful young adult novel I read as a tween, although my young sentimental self was also quite taken with And Both Were Young, which is partly why I once seriously considered going to a university in Switzerland.)
