“Would you like to see the first snow?”

Tagged (now i also really want to know if there are arctic mermaids), because that's just frozen water, do mermaids understand snow?, i just want to understand the science of mermaids, i mean she's obviously not a mermaid even though they went skiing, i mean she's so worried about rain, if she can't get wet, is it because of the protective barrier of clothing?, is that why she's not worried?, it's important, okay but here's my question, presumably bc she'll turn back into a mermaid, so frozen water is okay?, then how does snow work?, what happens when it melts?, why not snow????
