Drove 40 minutes out of my way to catch GB in 3D IMAX before it gets replaced by Star Trek – even though I generally don’t like 3D, I had a vague feeling that I’d regret at least the chance of watching my beloved GB and the clearly-made for 3D effects in the big theater when I had the chance.
FYI unless someone else shows up this is also gonna be a private viewing. I feel so special.

I told my parents how quickly these Disney LEGO minifigs sold out and how bummed I was that I only got maybe seven unique figures, and look what arrived in my birthday box!
Since there are 18 of them and they are all open and then taped shut again, I have the suspicion that they found me a complete set.
My parents are awesome. š
EDIT: it’s not a complete set, but the 4 that were duped (anyone need an extra Ariel? Or two?) I already have the missing 4 so now my collection really is complete! Yay!

Iāll watch just about anything tbh and a friend introduced me to jdramas, where I promptly fell in love with the high-school manga adaptations (HANA KIMI 4LYFE). Then there was this Hana Yori Dango remake that I kept hearing about, and the rest isĀ BoF gateway drug history (no I donāt know why I latched onto kdramas instead of jdramas when normally I seem to prefer the jdrama versions but life is a mystery, yāknow?)

Workmate is embarrassed she’s not wearing matching socks and didn’t notice until she was at work.
I am currently sporting one Big Bang sock (TOP) and one SHINee sock (Onew). This is normal for me.
I forgot how fun it was watching tv with my bff (anything on tv – weāre not picky) and then commenting our way through it. Weāre probably the most annoying people to watch tv with tbh but at least we make it into an interactive sport.
Before she got married and moved away, it used to be our regular Friday night habit – get takeaway and then plop ourselves down in front of her tv and catch up on each otherās week while talking to the tv. Itās not even snark – itās just genuine befuddlement and warning the characters and making dumb jokes.
(This reminds me we have to make at least one night free to watch Grizzly Man and eat Indian food because thatāsĀ āourā thing and I canāt bear – heh – to watch Grizzly Man without her despite how much I love that movie.)
