Heeeyyyyyy kdrama/kpop peeps!
Sometime in the near futurish (within the year, probably, but not any time soon) my Korean Pop Culture™ knowledge will be put to the test because of reasons (don’t ask) but I’m a little out of touch so I feel like my knowledge is outdated.
I’m not a podcast person generally ‘cause I get super bored super quick by people talking, but I feel like that would be the best crash course to be updated on the new trends/groups/critical thinking about pop culture. Do you guys have any recommendations?
A lot of the more critically thinking tumblrs I used to follow are now shuttered, so if you have suggestions for those as well, let me know. I prefer text than audio, anyway. I’ve also stopped reading just about everything on Korean pop culture (except for a couple of blogs that I still find interesting, like The Grand Narrative) so if there’s a non-tumblr blog that you’d recommend, feel free!
Also feel free to let me know of any interesting trends/etc you think I should be aware of and I’ll be happy to do a bunny trail of obsessive researching on those.
