Listen I may be like ‘oh hahaha my initials are OD!’ but wtf OD’ing on benzos is no joke. Hopefully the docs are correct and that his condition is improving but obviously it’s serious enough if they think it could take at least a week to fully recover. And that’s just the physical side of things – let’s not even begin to think about the mental toll and how long (if ever) to recover from that.
I’m alternately distraught for him (and for myself, lbr, even if it’s only a celeb I’ve seen from afar or as close as my money would allow) and furious at the world who would rather point fingers than realize this is a poor soul who needs help not persecution.
