They filled a to-go cup for me. *cries*
Fun fact: nothing makes me more fearless and enthusiastic and badass and ready to take on the world like two pots of proper tea in my belly and a tall cup of steaming delicious tea in my hand. Fear me, all the yuppie hipsters who dare darken these gentrified streets.
Having fancy-pants tea (with a 3-tier stand and all) and I automatically skipped the list of herbal because psht that’s not real tea.
Ended up with some Darjeeling and it made me want to cry because at first whiff it smells like the house blend afternoon tea back “home.” Can I bottle that scent? Is there a scent that says “fragrant black tea (with a dash of milk)”? Because I would buy that candle. Or a ton of those candles so I could burn one everyday.
It’s just amazing to find good, properly brewed tea, even if it’s a ridiculously expensive experience.
I haven’t been drinking tea at work because I forget to bring in proper creamer (the taste of powdered creamer may be ok for you coffee drinkers but i can’t stand the taste).
Today, thanks to me remembering to bring in a carton of creamer, I made my first midday cuppa in weeks and am wondering how I was functioning without it for so long. *clings to mug of tea*
