I’m normally able to sweet talk an enthusiastic friend into celebrating Bonfire Night by going up into a campsite in the mountains and having a bonfire in one of the fire pits.
But today is also the first snowfall of the season (yayyyy!!!!!) so it’ll probably be a quiet evening at home instead.
Oooooh I take it back. We’re currently in negotiations. There may still be fire.
Current hindrance: finding dry fuel (because of the snow)
My suggestion: space heater and a laptop with one of those burning log screensavers. Totally the same experience. Totally.
