We have Cracker Barrel catering our holiday meal today and everyone was so excited, especially our manager who used to be a manager at one. Having never eaten at Cracker Barrel, I got swept up in the excitement, assuming it was going to be good stuff… only to find out… it’s really bland.
The ham is good but it’s hard to mess up a smoked ham. All the sides, though? Super flavorless, and it’s only thanks to my inexplicable love of canned green beans that I’m enjoying the sides at all. I’m mildly disappointed but hey at least we get something to celebrate while we’re working, plus there were some clients who brought in tons of chocolate-mint sweets so the minter fan in me is happy and on a sugar high.
