My weekend plans fell through because my BFF and her kids have the flu. Trying to figure out how not to waste the weekend since it’s the rare weekend I have off (she says, forgetting that she’s going to start a new job in a week where she’ll be working Monday-Friday with regular hours each day, which is schedule she hasn’t seen since 2012).
Contemplating going to the movies since even though I have movie dates lined up, there are still like five movies out right now that I really want to see.
But then I remember that the cinema is in a shopping area that’s busy in normal times of the year and thinking about going there the weekend before Christmas makes me go, “Ummmm, no.”
