Stopped at the grocery store on my way home and I may have annoyed everyone else waiting their turn for the u-scan but lemme tell you I am now queen of Reese’s PB eggs.

I’ve got Tunnel…”
I didn’t realize you started it already haha. But yes, their bromance is nice. I like how the relationship changed after the who killed the truck driver episode, even more so after he finds out about Kwang Ho. Btw, who’s shady?
The medical examiner. He’s been suspicious and creepy since the moment we met him. Definitely shady.
Just an FYI if you start Tunnel. The first ep is boring. Didn’t get interested until near the end of ep 2.
I’m up to ep …6? I think?
I like it okay enough but more because of Yoon Hyun Min and him starting to figure out the truth and less so for the main mystery which is just ehhhhh. Also I know there’s gonna be some epic bromance because it’s Yoon Hyun Min so once those characters start trusting each other it oughta be good.
I’ve got Tunnel and Man to Man ready to watch but suddenly I’m like… “nah, not interested.”
I think I’m just tired of intense/action/thriller/etc and want something warm and fluffy but I also am the pickiest person ever when it comes to warm and fluffy WHY CAN I NOT FIND ANYTHING SUITABLY WARM AND FLUFFY *cries*
nvm I just discovered netflix has Secret Life of Pets which is exactly the kind of content I’m looking for rn

GO. KYUNG. PYO. Nothing else to say. I think the cast of Chicago Typewriter is amazing as a whole but he is just…ARGH, I can’t even define in words. Is it because of the suits? Likely because of them, but he is simply gorgeous on this and I also like his acting. He is so… I don’t know which words to use, but you understand me, I think. +
+ And his voice? Oh my God. I’ve always liked him even though I unfortunately dropped some dramas that he was in (not because of him, of course) but this is the one. I want to see the best he has to offer in this role, tears, rage, funny moments, EVERYTHING. (Sorry, I’m being too much, I know) Final message to drama gods: let him be with Kim Seul Gi again, please! (in something angsty, can you even imagine?)
ANON FINALLY I have time (and a proper keyboard) to respond!
He’s definitely a scene stealer, at least for me. I’m finding CT easy to zone out when (a) he’s not on screen, or (b) we’re not in the 1930′s. But that does mean ep 6 was fantastic and managed to pull me back in just when I was seriously considering dropping it because the whole ghost bromance is gonna be my favorite thing, I just know it.
I do consider myself a fan of GKP ever since FBND (*cries over my favorite otp to end all otps*), but… I also feel like… I can’t really call myself a fan when I’ve only watched a handful of his stuff. I mean, other than FBND and his SNL skits, plus a handful of episodes of Potato Star (I think I made it to ep 20, which sounds like a lot until you realize there’s 120 episodes total) and half of Jealousy Incarnate (which I still have vague plans to go back to), I haven’t really watched a lot of his work.
Wait, I did see the entirety of the Youth Over Flowers season he did with the other R88 boys, and I also saw the film Man On High Heels where he was great in a role that I’d not seen him play before (I like that he’s skilled in comedy but would totally love more serious stuff, plz!).
Buuuuut… that’s it. None of his other dramas registered much interest.
(I swear one day I’ll actually get around to watching R88 but only when I don’t look at that episode length and decide I have better ways to spend my time – namely I could watch two dramas in the time it would take me to watch that one.)
So for me to be going “he’s so great and such a scene stealer!” just because I’ve watched him in, like, five projects is maybe a little presumptuous but I don’t care. I love him and think he deserves any praise he gets. Yeah, I know the haters are gonna hate, and there’s a lot of netizens who don’t like him because of his SNS scandals, but it seems like he’s taken their criticisms to heart and is working on his image. Give the boy a chance, people!
As for him teaming up with Kim Seul Gi again, well, sure, of course I’d love to see my favorite OTP reunited, but honestly I’m also fine with letting the perfection of Webtoon Editor and Dong Hoon remain untainted. I definitely agree, however, that something dark and angsty would be excellent for him, based solely on how impressed I was by him in Man On High Heels.
By the way, I’m the anon who sent you the message about Go Kyung Pyo being awesome in Chicago Typewriter, I’m saying this before you answer my question so you can believe me, hahaha I have a mydramalist account which I plan to reactivate (blame it on the drama and on him <3), I used to be your friend in there, my username is sailormoonlight! Maybe we can discuss the drama in there, since I have no longer patience with tumblr (I had one more than a year ago, not a huge fan of it, as you can see)
I genuinely have no idea how to do anything on MDL except make lists.
But yeah, sure, re-befriend me on MDL (where, for anyone else curious, I have the oh-so-creative handle of odilettante) and feel free show me how to be social.
I’m gone from one work one day and suddenly we’ve found a random (but adorable!) dog (I mean just look at her goofy face above!) and in a few hours I’ll meet my coworker’s brand new puppy she got yesterday!
But it is a bit sobering to realize that one pup lost a home the same time another found one. It’s like the universe is trying to keep balance. Except it’s a stupid balance because all cute pups deserve a home.
FYI this girl has some mad leap to her.
I was standing straight, not bent down at all, grabbing some more water for her when all of a sudden she springs directly vertical on her stubby feet and gives me a nibbly kiss on the lips. I’m not sure how much air she cleared but she was practically eye-height with me.
UPDATE: this furbaby had been reunited with her family! Yay!
Lesson learned – don’t let your pup off-leash to go potty when she’s a known escape artist/wanderer.
Radiant Office – Episode 8
Anonnnnnnnnn! I see you and I want to answer but I’m at work and answering on mobile when I want to say lots of things is too annoying. But I see you and am flailing with you!!!
