I’d planned a nice stroll along the stream but was surprised at how chilly and windy it is (and I’d already packed away my fleece because the weather prediction from last night made it seem like I’d be fine with my thin sweater and fashion scarf that tbh is my default travel attire because it makes me seem more stylish than I am).

I at least ended up here, and had a little wander around the flea market set up there, too. Now back in my fave Insadong, killing time in a delightful little tea shop until I need to fetch my luggage and head to the airport.

Oh wow you know that girl group who bewildered me earlier? I was channel surfing and I swear they’re on MBC Plus’s “Busker Busking.” I recognize the one with the red hair.

Gimme a sec and I’ll find out more now that I have something to google.

Dinner! ^_^

Omg I got the “snow” chicken because I was told it’s really popular and holy crap this is delicious. A little unusual and I’m not sure what I was expecting when the guys at the front desk were describing it as a “sweet cheese powder.” But that’s exactly what it is and I love it.

I was going to check out some of the food trucks but the queues were insanely long and I was like “nope not worth it.”

Still on the hunt for dinner, which might end up being something cobbled from the corner store because I’m also a little tired, too. I had a fun, full day – even though I totally forgot to take pictures. So you’ll have to take my word that I wandered Hongdae, DDP, and along the Han river (unless you take my crappy videos of the unknown boy band on the floating stage as proof of at least the latter).

EDIT: oh but I did buy a homemade candle in a cute lil’ kimchi fermentation pot from the craft side of the festival so it was worth it for at least that. And it was fun enjoying the river at night along with thousands of my new friends. There were some really great acoustic music duos that I stopped to listen to, too. Very good atmosphere!
